    Yes

    Activate the toolbar:  AP > Modules > Toolbar

    Members will have to set these settings:  Profile > Notifications

    The topic was posted in the wrong section, so I have moved it to the correct section.

    A message will appear under the notification link in the toolbar.  It will not stay that way for a long period.
