Foes List Question

somtimes I see this message

and sometimes I do not see the post


What condition the system displays the message ?

Hello,

As you may know, the foes list system on Forumotion forums acts like the ignore or block feature on many social media sites (such as facebook), etc. This means the system will not display any messages from any user on that list, it also will not allow that person to pm you or view your profile (I think). The system does all this only for users that are on your foes list.

so what is the differrence ?

The message just tells you that the member who posted the message is on your foe list.  Is not the Display the Post a link?

I know that but why some posts display the message, some posts hide completely

what is the differentce between those 2 conditions ?

if a member on your Block list is Quoting some other member or a post is made with the name tagged in it will still show.

Also if you are admin or a staff member then with modding rights well then you can not add the friends and foes  system as you are staff and this setting will no longer work.

Here the example, one nick posts 2 posts , no one quote yet and I put his nick in foes list, post 1 hides completely, post 2 displays the message and I check others topic, sounds like it randomly displays

This is one example , not just this thread, it happens randomly

Only 4 posts in this thread, 1 and 2 belong to the same nick whom I put in foes list

but are you the founder or A admin or mod of the forum ?

I use a test account , just normal users ...

seems to me the hide function from forummotion.com has bug, it randomly shows the message . I have to write a script to hide that message because I can not answer to my members why show that message when s/he already know his/her own foes list .. kind of annoyed

ok i will make a report about this to our head office and see if there is any bugs on the system.
