Hello

I've searched and read everything I can find regarding problems embedding Youtube videos but still seem to be having a problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've enabled HTML and BBcode in both my Profile and the Forum configuration.


What am I missing?

Can you tell us how do you proceed to add videos into your forum ?

I have tried using the Youtube button and pasting the URL from the the Youtube video.

I have also tried pasting the embed code from Youtube directly into the message box.

Can you please try this step and see if it helps.

When getting the embed code like this

Code:

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Vp9NnqZzRxU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Now in your Editor make sure the following buttons are set right.

if it is white click on it and change it to grey like this    Now post your Code like so

Now send and you should see the video just fine.

When I click on the Switch Editor Mode button my message field disappears and there is no where to enter a message or paste a code.

it sounds to me you have a code messing this up.

try a Generator http://www.vtubetools.com/ or http://www.classynemesis.com/projects/ytembed/ I find this very useful for sites embeding youtube videos an you can control more for video embed. The sites a gave allow resizeing an other things its very useful all you do is copy id or full video url from youtube to the Generator an once your happy with settings you set generate it an it will give you a code to copy an paste on to your forum on html or widget I use generator with my wii u an it works very good an very well.

Okay i have found your problem and this is down to you Adding a code to hide our Ad's on your forum you have now broke our TOS and i have taken a screen shot of your rule breaking you have now got a warning to remove the code at once or i will have your forum banned.

Warning:

 Your forum will be monitored for further rule breaking.

Remove that code and your Video's will work again see my test post on your forum to see video's when code is missing

How to remove ad's from your forum the right way:

As founder of your forum you have to buy credits to remove your Ad's on your forum to do this follow this easy step

I am not sure how this has happened. My knowledge of code is extremely limited and I have NOT knowingly added ANY code in an attempt to block ads. I simply would not even know how to do that!

If you can please direct me to the area where this offending code is and show me what I need to remove, I will gladly try to remove it.

Please do not ban my forum. This is very strange as I am basically computer illiterate when it comes to things like code, etc. I have no clue how something like this could even happen.

I have sent you a PM with the code to remove i will not post it here as others will use it.

once this has been removed it will fix your problem with the video i have tested it and all works fine.

 

 Reminder to all members hiding the ad's by adding codes will have your forum shut down and your account and forum  banned.


Please all make sure you stick to your TOS we are not silly we will find out.

Yes the code stops not only the Ad's but the videos also.

I have seen you have removed the code and your site is now safe.
