Thanks button disappeared

Description of problem

My forum has a thanks button next to the quote button that does nothing, I added a thanks button via some some coding that someone helped me with ages ago, but following some updates by forum motion recently this button has disappeared.

If anyone knows what I can do about this (I can follow instructions but have no knowledge of coding) to re-install this feature or knows of a new better one I would be very grateful

you need the thanks button activated admin Panel...modules...points and reputation...reputation ..yes
once you are already on reputation tick activate Thanks button yes
the thanks button will only appear in replies to the topic starter and be sure you dont use a broken image for the thanks button

This allows all members to say thanks for any post (other than their own) & is a great way of letting someone know their post is appreciated & that it has been read esp if you don't have an actual reply.

It shows an actual "thanks" count on the post rather than adding to some nebulous & not obviously related thing like a "reputation" & people seem to like & appreciate it.

I had thought the site updates had removed the code for the "thanks" button (the one in the link), but on examination it is still present & correct, only for some reason its not visible.

I believe there was an issue with the host site. You need to check LGForum's forum.

I googled LGforum & got a forum for gamers & something about the electrical goods manufacturer LG ?


I just examined the code for the script & it has a link to Avacweb.com which is now up for sale......that's most likely it I would have though (not being an expert )

I'll click on this being sorted now lol
