Members can't post pictures

Hello, I am having numerous members complaining they are having trouble posting pictures on my forum. Any ideas?

Well apparently they are having trouble uploading them from there computer for sure? And another said even posting links didn't work either?

Okay, check your security on your forum and see if you restricted them too.

Admin Panel --> General --> Security

No, because one of the complaining members has posted images before, he claims it only works sometimes or something like that? Another guy just said he is having no luck posting pictures either.

I seen that. Perhaps it is just a coincidence these two members are having problems. Do you know of a detailed tutorial or post of how to pictures on forumotion forums.?

Try posting an image yourself by using the BBCode

Worked for me, I believe the two that are complaining may be trying to directly upload them from there computer files.

You can do that too via the 'Host an image" icon on the editor's toolbar.

Yes I did, and I also noticed this forum is under some sort of spam attack thing? lol So if you are trying to work on that, i am patient.

Haha no. I am only a 'helper' I have no staff powers and therefore can't do a thing about all the spam that happens. Don't worry, though, it's common during this time. I appreciate that, though.

Try several images on your computer to see if it does bring up that error.

Ok, it worked. It must have been that single image. What should i tell my two members having problems? i will make a in-depth post on how to post pictures I guess.

Actually, I am not the only one. The entire staff here, besides the head admin, are all volunteers. And a number of other users help others too.
