Homepage issue / loading page

Hello i followed this tutorial

There is a conflict between the two html pages i think
When we want to click ..Enter the forum...in the first html page (Homepage), we logically go to the second html page. After 4 seconds  this second page refreshes itself and takes us not to the original forum, but to the  Homepage again ! Doing circles
So basically we can never go back to the forum

we need to force the second html page to go to the original forum..how can i do that?

Mind posting these following things:

1. URL's of both destinations (1st pg & 2nd pg)
2. The code your are originally using at the moment.

i tested the url with /forum didnt work ...other urls like portal works but the point is to direct to the main forum

you may close the thread, i have second thoughts about using a welcome page
