Paypal donation button

I am using the ModernBBBETA forumotion version
and for my forum I would like to add a paypal donation to a topic or or on my forum in general

I have the link which is:

I have already read through different post and they all say to go to
Panel>misc> Credits management> donation
but i don't have a donations section so what can I do ?

No add it to your Widgets system that system no longer works the ones you are talking about

As far as I know only older forums have the option to allow a donation button on their forums whereas newer ones don't since Forumotion scraped it a few years back. You can still add the button to your forum, of course, it just takes a little more effort.

Would you like an easier way? Like you can put the link to your PayPal Donation page in the footer of your site.

EDIT: @APE beat me to this thread. lol, Do as he said which is put it on a widget.

ok Go to ACP >> Modules tab >>  Portal & Widgets
>> Forum widgets management >> Display forum widgets : YES if not already on.
Click the black Create a widget button and then name it paypal button

copy and past the code gave by paypal then click save.

now just add the widget to the pace you want it to show on your forum home page
