Registration can't be changed.

What CSS can I change that won't violate the Terms?

You can change anything on the site but the copyrights and ads unless you paid to remove them.

Explain what's "copyrighted" CSS so I don't edit them.

The Forumotion logo on the toolbar, the '@phpBB" on the footer, as well as the 'report an abuse' link.

Well editing Registration for the rules is "against the Terms of Service".

Yeah, you can't change the registration terms of service. You can decorate them and style them, just can't alter the text or hide them.

So I can alter any error messages to a custom one, right?

I suppose it depends on the error message, but yes.

You can Edit any of the error message.


but you can not change the following:

• Registration terms of service
  
• Main terms of service
  
• Links in the footer of your forum (unless you pay with credits to do so)
  
• Forum Ad's (Unless you pay for them to be removed by Credits)
