    Solved How to take ownership of a forum

    I am a member of a forum whose domain name has expired. I am getting no response to emails to forum administrators. Is it possible to take 'ownership' of the forum to reinstate the domain name or alternatively create a new domain to point to the forum?

    Thanks for that. Since none of the currents admins are responding I guess we have to wait six months. Other members will probably have moved on by then.

    While that is true, but only if the previous owner doesn't show up in that 6 months and 1 day period.
