Hello,
Activity has nothing to do with the back up/restore system. All forums are supposed to be backed up once a week or once every two weeks or so (atleast twice a month) regardless of activity.
Now just to clarify you do mean the back ups/forum restores that are available in the forum utilities?
If so, you said June 1st was the last date you had a back up, as I said before a back up is usually made once every two or so, so usually there is one at the beginning of the month (between the 1st and 5th usually) and one towards the middle to end of the month (between the 15th and 30th, but usually between the 20th and 30th). That said, we just reached the middle of the month, I would foresee the nest back up coming out within the next few days. As usually back ups are made between the 20th and 30th, the exact date can vary depending on our system actually performs the back up. I would give it until the 30th or 31st of this month and then see if the back up appears. If it doesnt by then, then I would start getting concerned. As of now I wouldnt be concerned, the back up will probably be done and made available within the next few days.
