Thank you Shadow for this information..I had already banned Photobucket and Tinypic..I had sent a newsletter to everyone saying if I seen Photobucket or Tinypic pictures I would automatically take them out and replace them with a warning..so this will help a lot..

I will let all my friends sites know about this as well..they all use Forumotion lol..

You understand that Tinypic is part of Photobucket.

Just to let you all know that yes tinypic is saying they will be doing the same as photobucket soon but have not gave a date as of yet.

Helpful information:

If you have a Photobucket account and your items are missing on your forum, Go to your account on photobucket and you will see your items fine.

Now if you right click on each item you can upload your items back to your computer.
Once you have them on your computer you can use our host Servimg or Imgur

Now there is one other way to host the items with us if you have an account on photobucket.

you can use the tools on Servimg account by clicking the button >> Now when you click on that button you will see a page come up like this >>
Click on the URL button and add your photobucket URL in the box,
Now we will then host your items from our end.

I knew that tinypic would do the same thing..as soon as I seen what was happening on photobucket..I told everyone that tinypic would do the same thing..I am so glad that I got all my pictures off of both..thank you Ape for letting everyone know what is going to happen here soon with them as well..at least everyone has a warning with them..not like photobucket..

Also, I have a lot of friends that can't even right click on their pictures in photobucket..won't let them do anything with them..not sure if they ever got them off or not..will have to ask..most of them were family pictures..and Sims game pictures..with no copies or back ups..with them.

You have to go to your account on Photohbucket to download it to your computer.

your welcome and if they log in to the accounts on photobucket and tinypic then the right click will work but they must be logged in on their own account to do so.

Why are there problems seeing the photos again???? Is this going to be a continued issue with Forumotion???
I am disabled and this just multiplies my anxiety, Please find a ermanent fix and keep everyone updated BEFORE we have issues! Thanks!

Biker♥SkunkTagz, those photos are hosted by photobucket, an external service that has nothing to do with Forumotion. Photobucket recently decided to make it's users pay 500$ per year to allow them to put the photos on forums and websites. More about this:https://help.forumotion.com/t153309-photobucket-update

As Justice™ has already said this was not down to us we just put this in so if you have any photobucket items on your forum and you don't have a premium account for hird-party hosting on photobucket you will get the following on all your photo's or hosted items with them.

This is what you get if you don't have an premium account:


Now our tools now removes that warning from the system to stop your forum looking a mess that is all this tool dose.

Now if you do have a premium account with them and you still want to see this on your forum all yo have to do is turn it back on again and then your see the items again.

BUT remember some of your members may not have this premium account so you will see the warning in it's place.

There is NOTHING FM can do to stop this.

The option is no longer available!

Just click on NO next to the option and then save.

Related to this topic, Photobucket is extremely broken and it took me hours to get all my pictures off of my account when this first started, because their download album feature doesn't even work any more due to the glitchy captchas they gave everything. I'd never consider giving them even a penny. It was faster to right-click then save each individual image despite how bad it made my wrist hurt after the 600th, but it was better than having to fill out a bunch of captchas only for "oops! something went wrong"

Sorry that I went off on a little bit of a rant but this has been one of the most frustrating internet experiences for me, as I've loyally used Photobucket almost as long as the site has been open.

You all need to understand that issue is that Photobucket requires its members to pay a fee to share images on third-party sites.  To post images from Photobucket on your forum and everyone see them, you have to pay a fee.  Forumotion has only gave you an option to allow or not allow images on your forum from Photobucket.

I have clicked on the 'No' option, but the images have not returned. Or is that option only for any new images that are uploaded from Photobucket, and not existing images?

It's a real problem, and $400 per year is blackmail.

if you don't have a premium with photobucket then they will not come back you will just get this all over your forum


some members have closed the account already down to this so if you have had them hosted by some one else then they will not show at all.

if you have a photobucket account i think you are better off re hosting them items you have with us.

So if someone with a premium Photobucket account pastes a pic to my forum (without using the servimg host link) it still won't show up, except to those with a premium account?

Can existing photobucket images still be seen by those who have a premium account?

I suppose if the original uploader hasn't got a premium account then the answer to that would be 'No'.

But if I pay $400 per year then all my members will be able to see all the images?
