Forum Locked

I have just created a new forum and I have validated it. However, the icons at the bottom of the screen indicated that the forum is locked. How do I unlock it?

As a total newbie, I am also trying to work out how to register forum members.

Do you mean these:  New, Old, and Locked?  If yes, those are just showing what the forum icons mean.

They are nothing to worry about your forum is not locked

Exactly, the 'new posts, no new posts, forum is locked' is just the icon legend telling you what each icon means. This doesnt mean your forum is locked in any way.

To post all you got to do is click on a section and then hit 'new topic' or if you already have a topic and want to reply to it, just click that topic and click 'reply', in each case, make sure to give a title, type your message in the message box and click 'send'. That is how you post.
