Have you ever had someone break into your home? If so, what did they damage/steal? What steps have you taken to prevent a break in?

When I was very young, someone broke into our house during Christmas. They broke the glass back door and unwrapped all the gifts which they took. They also went through all the closets and drawers.

Wow. That sucks. There are probably quite a few people that have their house burglarized during the Christmas season. There's probably a lot of people that get their car broken into during the Christmas season while they are out shopping as well. I'm sorry you had to deal with that.

I haven't experienced burglary and I hope to never experience that either.

I forgot to mention that they also broke into our neighbor's house, too. In the same way through a glass door.

Well, i remember that bad night while we are returning from a vacations..
The burglars stolen the Smart TV that was in the living room, jewelry of my mother and some savings of my father (It was a coins of a little value, but still).

I think my brother's console was stolen too.
Fortunately, nothing was stolen from me (Thinking that my room belonged to a child).
