    Technical Details

    Forum version : #phpBB3
    Position : Founder
    Concerned browser(s) : Google Chrome
Who the problem concerns : Yourself
When the problem appeared : Today
    Forum link : http://trendinternational.hungarianforum.com/

    Description of problem

    Hi there!
One of my moderators accidentally deleted an important topic this morning that we would need badly.
I ran through the topics here, but the only useful information I found was the backup. So I went to utilities, but the latest date I could choose from was 30th October. Since it is a fresh topic, this bacup would not help us.
    Could you please help me?
    Thank you in advance!

Hello sadly if the topic was new and it don't fit in with the backup tools dates then there is not a lot you can do your end.
I have just looked at the dates you have on your tools and I have the same dates as you do so I don't think there is anything I can do as we use the same sort of tools.

when was the topic made ? A rough date will be good.
What I can do is ask our head office for more advice.

It was created two weeks before, probably on the 3rd of November, or the day before. But the discussion only started on Sunday. This part, the last few days would be crucial for us.

    I would appreciate any help!

    Hello,

As Ape said, the only way to recover a deleted a topic is do a forum restore, but if the topic was made after the latest restore date, then unfortunatelly there isn't anything you or we can do to get it back.

May just have to re create it.

I would tell your moderators to be careful and double check what they are deleting before the delete them.

    -Brandon
