Description of problem

In faq it indicated in users and groups user options captcha would allow to turn this on or off. I would like it off as no confirmation code/captcha thing is showing up for my players but I see no Captcha on off option in the section indicated. It requests a confirmation code without supplying one.
Help?

Sadly the Captcha settings was removed from the ACP late last year when we had problems with google and other search systems started to ban our sites for not being safe.

Sadly the tools will not be added back to your ACP.

The FAQ have not been updated yet can you point me to the part where you see this so i can get this updated ASAP.

So how does one bypass this or get the captcha to show up? They only saw the confirmation code ask for no code was revealed this seems would be a major issue as need to be able to register.

Hmmm, I don't see the confirmation code either.

If you want I will make a report on this, but it won't get viewed until Monday as our head office is closed for the weekend.

Alright, but before I can make a report I need you to try something to see if it work, may you please try re syncing the forum to see if it helps. You can do this by going to acp (admin panel)-->General-->Configuration-->All the way at the bottom there should be something that says re synchorization of the forum or something like that. Tick the box and save and then clear your browser cache and cookies and see if it helps.

Also do you have any javascripts or css installed on the forum?

most of the time if this is missing on your forum it is down to codes added to your forum.
Please follow this.

Try and turn off all codes installed on your Javascripts. (If installed)
Turn off any CSS files you may have installed.
Turn off any Templates you may have installed.

99.9% of the time the codes are what is the problem that is why FM (forumotion) installed the option to turn this off without removing the codes.

As it was mentioned coding might be a factor, I installed a different skin
This seemed to resolve the issue.

May we consider this solved?
