Wondering if someone can help first of all, I have a general query. I purchased my domain name for my forum (https://frostitutes.forumotion.com) to a domain purchased through yourselves (frostitutes.org) which has not been applied to my account/forum yet. I'm not sure on whats going on and have no way to directly email anyone in the team in regards to this issue and average times it will take for the domain to become active. It also says my domain name is still for sale?

Another thing, I purchased the SSL certificate before I got my new domain, now does that mean that it's going to stay with the frostitutes.forumotion.com or will it automatically change the certificate to my frostitutes.org domain? Or would I have to purchase that whole thing again?

Hi, you should wait a while for the DNS of your new domain to expand to have it active if you bought it recently, at least wait about 48 hours.

I see, but will the SSL certificate transfer to the new domain from the forumotion sub domain?

Exactly check and see what it says on the SSL certificate page.  You exactly can not change your forum's link while having a SSL certificate activated.  You might have to turn it off and turn it back on when you get the domain name.

This has become an issue, theres nothing I can do to disable it. I can only put it back to http rather than https. On another note it's been way over 48 hours and my order for my domain is still being processed. What is going on? Please I need proper insight as I can't even email anyone who can help..

Hello @Gabix The problem I think is you had the SSL certificate before the Domain name it should be done the other way around.

Don't worry I have sent a Ticket online to see if we can fix this for you.
Sadly it's now the weekend and our office will be closed really soon so this may not be seen until Monday the earliest.

Thanks, where will they contact me through? Will they be able to apply to SSL to the new domain do you think?

They will do one of two things.
They will read the ticket I have made on my tools and reply back to me then I will post here.
OR
They will reply back to you here them self.
90% of the time they will let me know on my tools and then I will reply back with the outcome.

Most of the time they will put your domain name online on your forum then change your URL for you and then add your SSL certificate all done our end.

I will let you know more in this thread when I know more from our head office as soon as it comes in.

UPDATE:

The domain has been registered now so thats a change I guess. Still currently on the subdomain.

The domain address is still not ready our end that is why the page comes up like that.
I have no news from out head office like i told you I or some one from the head office will post here when the address is ready until then your old address you got when you made the forum will be the only one you need to use.

When the address is set up right then your old address will redirect to the new one without you doing anything you don't have to do anything else from now on unless we tell you to.

Is there any update today? Just curious to know as it's Monday here. Not sure what time it would be your side though.

Hello I am Sorry But there is no update, but it is marked as In progresson my tools this means that our head office is working on fixing your problem.
