Lost All Email Notifications ??

We have for some time been having problems with the loss of all email notifications? New members registering are complaining of not receiving notification that their accounts are active, as well as members not getting any emails of post notifications etc, can anyone shed some light on this please as I'm getting a lot of agro from people trying to join our forum.

There is a couple things you need to tell your members to check. First tell them to check their spam folders to make sure the emails aren't going there.

Second they should check to make sure notifications are turned on their profile. They can do this by clicking profile in the navbar, going to 'notifications' and making sure everything is ticked to 'my email' and save.

Sorry you seem to be misunderstanding me... When I say Notifications I mean every single notification you can think of are not being received? it's not just the odd member, it's every single member who's effected (We Have 6 Thousand Members)

As Admin I'm also not receiving notifications of new members registering as before, and NEW members registering are also not receiving email notification that their account is now active, as a result they are creating multiple accounts as they are not receiving notice that their account is active which is causing all kinds of problems in itself.

Regular members are also complaining that they are not receiving notifications like before when watching topics or being alerted to new replies etc? it seems every possible notification you can think of has disappeared from our forum? HELP!!!

Did you check your profile (preferences and notifications)?  Also how do you have it set up for new members in the AP?

Feel like we're getting absolutely no where with this...

Firstly I've NOT made any changes to anything in the Admin panel to instigate this problem, it just happened of its own accord?

I'm not sure where we check settings for new members? If you mean: Users > Users Options then heres a screen shot



I'm not even getting email notifications when new members register?

As I've said NO body is getting any kind of notification?

Appreciate any assistance in getting this resolved it's causing us a major headache

No its only the staff section where its been bought up, were you able to check the settings? Could you see anything wrong?

I did not see anything wrong.  So this is only affecting staff members?

Its definitely affecting staff members, and new members registering are not receiving any confirmation of their accounts being activated?

also I'm not getting email notifications of newly created accounts either

its all new members attempting to register, they are not getting the email to self activate so I'm having to manually activate them, even then they are not aware as they are not receiving an email to say their account is now active as they used to.

I have asked about this, but we will have to wait for a reply.
