Contact by email

Hello

I tested contacting my username by email by way of the email icon under my username, and I am not receiving the emails. Is there something I'm missing? It also doesn't work if I use the contact by email by going to the profile. Thanks.

Did you check your spam folder?

I had already checked my spam folder several times. I had another registered member send an email by using the icon under my avatar and also by going to profiles, email. She received confirmation of both emails sent. I did not receive anything.

Do you have the correct email in your profile?

I have the correct email in the profile. I have not had time to revisit this problem.

I will delete the email and try using a different email. Not sure why that would make a difference but I'll delete history and cookies, and re insert the old email.

The email that was not working was a @outlook.com email. I changed it to a @gmail.com address, tested it, and now it's fine.

I'm not sure why it won't accept the outlook.com email, but I have to switch everything to gmail.
