    Solved Embedded mht file.

Post by OldCroc May 22nd 2018, 2:48 am

    Dear support,

I have an Excel spreadsheet converted into a .mht file which opens in your browser. How can I embed this file in a forum post so that members can click on it to open in their browser.
Would appreciate your feedback and help on this problem.

Is this file saved on your computer or hosted online?

You can upload it to Google Drive or any hosting site that may preview-able this filetype. Or I suggest to make a script, thing let you preview the content of your attached file. I'm still looking for a real one like that Very Happy

It's not possible to set an iframe with *.mht file. Even for *.xlsx it would be hard, because like every hosting disallows framing (i.e. Google Drive, I tested it). You'll have to attach a direct link or host it on some cloud drive.
