as far as i know, installing Tapatalk requires server access, which users do not have on forumotion

If you mean the Tapatalk app, have you checked out Forumotion's mobile app (Topic'It)?

Tapatalk is a mobile base forum system and I don't think we have the tools to take info from the database.
