I do have that button there. It's not just deleting their post.
It's if they make a Topic post and they are done that they can delete it
and not have to ask Mod's or Admin's to do it for them.
I've checked all the setting and there is no buttons for them to delete
    their topic posts.

    Hello @Dyane

Please remember that as a member you can only delete your owns messages if no other member has posted after you. This is different for moderators and administrators because they can erase everything.

    Best regards.

Really? When a member makes their own topic post and others reply and when that topic post is done they should have the right to delete it and only their topic posts. Not just be able to delete just their single posts

I'm sorry but that doesn't work like that in Forumotion. They'd have to be either moderators or administrators.

    Best regards.

Wow that’s going to be a real pain. When we have members who make their own topic posts and when ready to delete it they have to notify a mod or admin to delete it? I’ve never heard of that. I understand for mods and admins having access to delete all topic posts but members should have a right to delete their own topic posts they made.

The reason it is done like this is so that the other posts made in the topic won't be deleted as well (because those members may not want them deleted). That is the reason it is done like this.

Now if no else has replied to the topic yet, then yes they could delete them on their own. Otherwise they may be able to delete their first post/topic starter (not sure, but they might), however, the topic itself will not be deleted if others have posted. This is so that the other posts made by other users in the topic are preserved.
