Hi. I just set up a new forum today and I have a question I haven't been able to find an answer for. When the original poster returns to the post to edit or for some other reason, the view count goes up each time. This skews the count. Is there a setting that will prevent the original posters views from being added to the count? Thanks.

Hello!
There is no way to disable the view count on the threads as this is just a simple numbers system that adds the views whether it is the original poster of the thread or a new member. You can use CSS to hide the view count entirely but then you won't ever know how many views a thread has or not.
Hope this helps!
Cheers,
James

You are welcome! Happy to help! If your issue is solved, you can edit your original post and add the "Solved" tag to it, this way the staff know the issue is resolved and can be moved to the archives.
