Can I rename forum?

Can I rename an existing forum "http://ryansengineforum.forumotion.com" - no idea who ryan is

Also do I need to purchase a domain name or can I just use forum name?

1. You can edit your forum name if you go to:
Admin Panel > General >Forum address (and there you will see the option to rename it)

You do not NEED to purchase a domain name, your forum will work just fine om the free one, however, you can if you WANT to.

Well if you buy it through us with the package and credit system, you don't have to worry about pointing it, we take care of everything for you. See the links Jadster linked you to above.

If you just change the name of the forum, you also need to change it here:  AP > General > Forum Promotion > Search Engines.
