    The title tag and meta description are suggestions for what the search engines should display in the results... Google is under no obligation to display exactly what you want them to display.... in many cases the search engines wont display them at all

    There are many situations where the search engines wont display your meta tags description
    examples...the title or meta description you specified
    - isn't relevant to the search query
    - is too short or too long
    - is not an accurate reflection of what your page is really about

    the best you can do as a solution is to make sure your title tag and meta description fall within Google's length requirements... title tags around 60 characters and meta descriptions under 160.... i think now is a little higher but iam not sure

    you have to know that Google is displaying its own search results....that means you will never have full control over how your site appears in search results.....

    you must get your meta tag code from google something like
    <meta name="xxxx" content="12345"/>

    then go to admin panel...general..forum promotion...search engines..additional tags..click the add button
    choose the meta tag option and fill the 2 boxes
    "name" attribute and "content" attribute... fill those with the code from google
    then go to google tools to verify your forum
