I suddenly can't log in

Hello! I suddenly can't log in my account and I forgot to turn off the Disallow admin to send new password thing.

Could someone change my password? I would send you the link to my forum via PM.

We've been trying to deal with this problem, @brandon_g sent me a new password 2 times already, I was able to log in each time. Then I changed my password to what I wanted it to be and the next thing I know is that I can't log in and the same problem appears all over again. I have also tried "I forgot my password" option, I change my password and then try to log in again but it still won't work. I'm just really confused because this has never happened to me in 10 years I've been on Forumotion and it's super annoying because I put so much effort in my forum and it still won't work. Yes. Brandon has sent me a new password via email and I tried logging in with it but I couldn't... It's even worse now

 Trouble shooting:
Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has.
For Windows - Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter.
How to - Clear the cache & Cookies in Your browsers
Restart your computer.

Yes I logged in to the account with the password you sent the member by Email.

I need the member to follow the steps for troubleshooting to see if it helps

hello. i did everything you said and followed the steps but it still won't work.

also, what exactly do you mean by ipconfig? i can find that on my computer but i don't know what to do with it.

and i have tried using different browsers, computers and phones, nothing works.

when you try and log in do you get any warning at all ? If yes please post a screen shot of it so we can see what is going on as i have said i had no problem at all logging in on your account using your new password.

also can you PM me your Email address and your IP address
To find your IP address see HERE!! I will then send a report to out head office to see if we have anything blocking your account.

Thanks for taking over the handling of this @Ape . After about 3 password resets, I was running out of ideas as to why she couldn't get in. :|

Thank you very much, all of you, for helping me out. Hopefully we will solve this problem soon.

I'm now thinking it could be the system has banned the IP address as it lets me in with No problems at all.

This is why I took it on my self to send this on to our head office and see if your listed on the system or not.

Most of the time we get some other page but this is really strange maybe they can work it out as I'm lost myself.

Just one other thing to try if you would.

When you click in the username box you will see the type line bar flash try pressing your backspace key before you type in your username.

Then click in the password box and do the same before you type the password then press your send button don't just press return or enter.

Some times a browser will add a space in the box before or after the text you type.

That also doesn't work.

Good news we think we found the problem when you try and log in a lot of times with a new password if you don't do it right the first or second time our system things something is wrong and flags you up as maybe a bot or hacker. when we resend you more then one password in a matter of days our system also things some thing is wrong and will ban your IP or account.

We have removed your IP address from our auto ban system so it should be ok to try and log in now using the password we sent your by Email.

If you still have a problem after 2 try's then stop and post back to me here.

When changing your password to something you know try and use your profile not the ACP.
