Question About User Registration

Hey guys,

I had a question about user registration. Is it possible to either:

1) Only allow users from a given ending email address to register to a forum? For example I'm creating a forum for a college club and I want to only allow users that have our college's .edu email address to register for the forum.

or

2) Only allow users from a give email pool to register to a forum? So for example you have a list of already given possible user email addresses and if a person tries to register for your forum and their email address isn't on that list they aren't allowed to register.

Any help is much appreciated.

Do you have it set up where you have to approve of the registration before the account is created?

Well it'd be nice if it was "automated" so to speak using one of those parameters.

Is that the only way that can work?

You could try the ban option.

AP > Users & Groups > Users > Ban Management
Ban an Email Address Tab
You can ban just part of an email address like this:
