Mod Chat Box

I have seen reference to this while reading through some of the 'help' sections, but don't know how to create it on my forum.

You are talking about widgets, correct? Go to your panel and choose Modules -> Portal & Widgets -> Forum widgets management and you can see 'Chatbox' under existing widgets.

Or you could use an iframe:

I have activated the regular chat box.
Is there a chatbox only viewable/useable by Mods?

you mean a second one only for staff or the regular to be used only by the staff ?

A seperate one would be a nice option--for staff only.

You could get a third-party chatbox/shoutbox and add it to your forum.
