A Case of Nerves Empty A Case of Nerves

Post by The Last Outlaw April 12th 2019, 4:58 pm

I am nervous right now, guys.

I was told by my Pastor that on Sunday I was on the program for Sunday Service. I had no problem with that until he told me EXACTLY what I would be doing. I'm taking on the role of a lifetime.

We are closing in on Easter (or as I call it, Resurrection Sunday) and this Sunday, I am taking on the role of Jesus Christ as He was nailed to the cross. There were Seven last notable things He said before dying on the cross. If you read your Bible, you can find those quotes in the four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John).

So where does my nerves come in? Let's put this aside: I'm gonna be dressed in a white sheet and a "crown of thorns." That does not set my nerves off. My nerves is that I'm gonna be up against the cross that we have in our church sanctuary, as Jesus, and I'm nervous about getting the order of the "Seven Last Words" correct from "Father, Forgiven Them... For They Know Not What They Do." all the way to "Father, Into Your Hands I Commend My Spirit."

I just need some positive vibes between now and Sunday.
