Message is too long to post even though it is under 65000 characters

Hi, I've been trying to send a post on my forum (bzpb.forumotion.co.uk) that is exactly 64451 characters long, but the system refuses to send it through, displaying only a message that says "The posted message is too long." I was under the impression that Forumotion's global post character limit was 65000 characters, so what can I do here? Is there another additional limit that says that a post can only be under so many lines in length as well? If so, what is that length? I found that people who asked similar questions here in the past were being referred to this topic, but I can't read it because "only users granted special access can read topics in this forum".

Arrow Characters in the messages: 65,000 characters (Including spaces)

The message that I am trying to send is under that 65,000 character limit though. It's only 64,451 characters long, including spaces, so why does the system still say that it is too long to send?

Maybe you use special characters that take more "space" then you think they are. For example if you use

Me wrote:Ово је нови пост

They are Cyrillic characters. Or some Greek, or German, Chinese. You should check that maybe.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I pasted the text into several different text editors to see if there were any inconsistencies that could explain it like you suggested. Eventually, I found my answer in Notepad++:


It seems that Forumotion also counts line endings as characters, which was I something I never even considered and never saw mentioned anywhere while doing research about the service. Oh well. I managed to shorten my text and post it, so I guess this issue is now solved.
