Member list changed permissions

My member list randomly decided to make it hidden from all guests, but when I go to change the permissions it says its set to " ALL " can see.. but when  I logout the member button disapeers as if I don't have permission as a guest to see it.

A manipulation was carried out this month following a number of abnormally high hits on these pages as well as on the calendar.

It had been a few days since the team had identified this strong rise in server-side hits. To prevent any slowing down of the forums, we thus preferred to intervene by modifying the permission of access to these pages. This immediately prevented the bots from accessing them. No consequence on SEO side because these pages are not indexed, being in noindex. On the user side, the effect is the one you describe.

You can, however, re-activate the guest list from your Administration Panel.
