    Solved Deleted script but still shows on forum

    Post by Guardian-Angel November 15th 2019, 2:01 am

    Hello

    A couple of months ago I asked for assistance in moving the "view new posts" option up further on our forum instead of way at the bottom of the page. I added this to javascript which worked perfectly. (sorry I forget who helped me to give them credit)

    Code:
    $(function(){
      $('<div class="npip" style="text-align:right;font-size:12px"><a href="/search?search_id=newposts">View New Posts</a></div>').insertAfter('.noprint .right');
    });

    However members are having problems when using view new posts. They will read one new topic with new posts and when they refresh view new posts, there aren't any more new posts when clearly there were many.

    I deleted the script, but the "view new posts" in the new position is still showing. Shouldn't it be removed immediately?

    Thanks
