Its been suggested to me by a colleague that the upcoming "General Data Protection Regulation" (GDPR) probably applies to our forum hosted by forumotion? - As we are based in the UK can someone please clarify as I can't make any sense of it, it seems to apply to businesses & companies of which we are neither?

Re: General Data Protection Regulation
Hello,
Forumotion is a company !
And a french company, so french laws are applied, no matter where you're living. What is important is who is hosting your forum, not where you live.

Re: General Data Protection Regulation
The UK are still the same as any EU General Data Protection Regulation and as our host is in France you have nothing to worry about here.

GDPR was already implemented last year and Forumotion forums have been in full compliance since it took effect.
