Forum sitemap
Hi, I just want to ask is it possible to add a sitemap of my forum to the Google Search Console to improve the search results in the engine? also one question, if I can do it so where I should to put my sitemap.xml (Google Search Console needs url adress to it). Sorry maybe the questions are silly but I'm not a big expert of it.
warm greetings.

Re: Forum sitemap
i guess you have to get the Google webmaster tools first..if there is an embed meta tag that has to be added you must add this to your forums meta tags section..Admin panel...general...forum promotions>search engines ...
Other meta tags...if you have to choose the option to add the embed meta tag for google validation then it must be added there.

Re: Forum sitemap
you add sitemap.xml in webmaster tools, thats it. Click your site in webmaster tools, then add a site map link upper right-hand side, and then add sitemap.xml and submit. It will self update all the time.Â
Every Forumotion forum already has a built in site map, all you need to do is add itÂ
For Bing you need to add the full address like this example:
https://help.forumotion.com/sitemap.xml

Re: Forum sitemap
Are you using Google Analytics? If yes, there should be a tab for the sitemap. I mean your account with Google Analytics.

So your sitemap is available here : https://eurowizyjnie.forumpolish.com/sitemap.xml
yes I know, I've noticed that the sitemap actualize itself automatically but still the Google Search Console refuse the sitemap when I put this: https://eurowizyjnie.forumpolish.com/sitemap.xml in the place where should be a link to the sitemap and I don't know why. I'm confused.

Re: Forum sitemap
Note that you must type only the suffix "sitemap.xml" into the field. If you paste the full URL it will not work, as they already provide the first part.HappyUnicorn2 wrote:The Godfather wrote:Hello,

It would be great to hear Google support's advice.

Re: Forum sitemap
Hello,
OK I understood, this is the problem "Couldn't fetch".
In all transparency, we do not understand this problem after having carried out several internal studies on the level of logs on the servers, comparisons of several forums (http or https, ut8 and non-utf8, different languages, personal domain or not ,. ..). For the moment, nothing explains these random errors.
