    Solved Facebook Feed

Post by JaneDoe July 29th 2020, 11:50 pm

I would like to add a scrolling facebook feed of the Township Facebook page to my forum. I want it to be the same width as the widgets on my homepage so it can be placed below my latest topics on the left if possible.

    My forum is phpbb2

    Thanks

Thanks @SLGray that works well (I hadn't noticed I could use it before), but is there any way to make it scroll?

I am not good with coding.  Someone might be willing to help that knows about coding.

P.S.  Yes there was no announcement about the 3 new widgets.  One for Twitter, Facebook, nad Discord.

Thanks @SLGray  Actually looking at the widget, I can see members can manually scroll it. I think they will actually prefer this method.

Thank you again and I will check the Twitter widget out as well thumright

the code should be an iframe code

test mine to see if its working as a test

    Code:

    <iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/page.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FIconskouliki%2F&tabs=timeline&width=340&height=500&small_header=false&adapt_container_width=true&hide_cover=true&show_facepile=true&appId" style="border: none; overflow: hidden; width: 350px; height: 500px;" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true"></iframe>

Where exactly did you place the JavaScript?  It is not organized the way you can add it in the JavaScript Management in the AP.

If you look at your post there are 2 steps. Try adding both codes in the same widget.

Thank you so much @skouliki it has installed perfectly on my main forum thumright

I like this one better. Unlike the standard Facebook widget it shows my Facebook friends who like the game and also has an icon of a gaming remote that when clicked takes members straight to the Official Playrix support and games website  Very Happy

Another benefit is if in the future we want a second Facebook feed (like our own facebook page for example) on the forum we will be able to do this Very Happy

Thanks again guys. Solved Bow 3
