Solved Some javascripts no longer working since my domain name went live

Post by JaneDoe November 2nd 2020, 10:05 pm

As the title says. Some of my javascripts have stopped working since my custom domain name went live today.

So far I have noticed, the js in

google translator is no longer working, but it is working fine in a widget.

the gif js is no longer working.

the twemojis js is no longer working.

It is not effecting all javascripts on my forum. The ones that are not working are working on my test forum. I have cleared my cache, forum cookies and synched my forum. Other members of my forum are experiencing the same issues. I have tested google chrome and microsoft edge.

Google translate not working at all, it just doesn't appear. I have the same script on my test forum and it is fine.

The twemojis is there but the icon (button) is invisible  on microsoft edge and icon (button) shows on google chrome but when you do open the box the emojis are missing.

The gif lets you put a search word in but just stays stuck at "searching" and provides no results of gifs to use.

I have made no changes to my forum templates, codes etc today.

I have found the answer. I will give it here as it may help others. When my custom domain was processed it affected the http:

I had to switch forcing HTTPS compatibility from no to yes.
