Icon New Post not showing up?

I'm having a problem with icons showing up properly. I have searched these forums, did not find my answer or solution.
I'm talking about the icons for a new post.
The desired images for post, new post, locked, have been properly uploaded and installed. But only the one for what's called "Forum:" and "Subject:" in admin panel and the locked one show up.
NOT the one for a new post which should show both on the index AND when entering a subforum.

I have another forum on Forumotion and I've checked that, I've done EXACTLY the same thing. difference being it does work on that forum and NOT on my new one
I don't know which version this is. I couldn't find that info...

Also, I don't get the difference between 'forum icons' and 'icons for topic'??

I'll add images to hopefully clarify.







It does show up correct at the bottom of the forum, where you do see the red heart for 'new posts' but that's it. It does not work the way it should in the forums.

You need to add the images to the categories, too.

I did that, then 1 red heart showed up! But that was a new started topic. It didn't come up for a new reply to an existing topic.
So I switched to another account, did both a reply to an existing topic AND started a new one.
Then went back to the other account (Admin) to see if it had worked.
Guess what.... nothing?

Clear your browser;s cache and history.

Thank you! I deleted the last 4 weeks as I only created the forum some week ago, if that.
No joy....

To get this to work you must allow Cookies on your forum and this will only work after you have done so.

NOTE this will not show right away unless you have logged in and a new topic was posted if you clear your browser cookies then the NEW icons will not show as you have cleared your browser of cookies.

So the best thing to do is clear your browsers cookies now then the next time some one makes a post it should work for you but you must allow cookies and you must be logged in.
