I'm an admin of an inactive forum and was locked out of my account; I've forgotten the password that was previously used on the account, and have been trying to get back in, as this was a writing/Roleplaying forum and wanted to revisit a lot of the writings I used to have on it. The message I get when I try to do 'Forget My Password' is: The security 'Disallow admin to send new password' is active in Admin Panel > General Admin > Security.
I, unfortunately, have reason to believe that my ex-boyfriend who was also an admin, had locked me out, as there were only 3 variations of a password I would use and none of them seem to work. I've at least narrowed it down to the email address I used and is linked to my account on it.
Is there anything you can do to help me?!
