Solved Help with html coding on a new post

    Post by aprilshowers0923 Wed 27 Jan - 21:29

Hello and Good afternoon.  my site is https://backgroundsapril.board-directory.net

    The post is https://backgroundsapril.board-directory.net/t61-blt-delilahs

The problem is my post looks perfect on my site but when I copy and paste on another site it gets screwed up and doesn't look the same.

    This is my code:
    Code:
    <table cellspacing=60 width=100% style="background-image:url(https://i.postimg.cc/sgtzZcLy/BLT-Delilahs-Rainbow-PP2.jpg); border:2px ridge #000000;"><tr><td><table cellspacing=8 width=100% style="background-image:url(https://i.postimg.cc/x177YXKq/BLT-Delillahs-Strip.jpg); border:1px ridge #3f310e"><tr><td><table cellspacing=3 width=100% style="background-image:url(https://i.postimg.cc/y6kfPFt5/BLT-Delilahs-Strip-1.jpg); border:0px ridge #000000"><tr><td><table cellspacing=8 width=100% style="background-image:url(https://i.postimg.cc/x177YXKq/BLT-Delillahs-Strip.jpg); border:0px ridge #3f310e"><tr><td><table cellspacing=3 width=100% style="background-image:url(https://i.postimg.cc/y6kfPFt5/BLT-Delilahs-Strip-1.jpg); border:0px ridge #3f310e"><tr><td align=center><table cellspacing=8 width=100% style="background-image:url(https://i.postimg.cc/x177YXKq/BLT-Delillahs-Strip.jpg); border:0px ridge #3f310e"><tr><td><table width="100%"  border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" background="https://i.postimg.cc/x177YXKq/BLT-Delillahs-Strip.jpg"><tr><td><table width="90%"  border="0" align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" background="https://i.postimg.cc/y6kfPFt5/BLT-Delilahs-Strip-1.jpg"><tr><td><p>&nbsp;

    Men at Work

    Lyrics

    Traveling in a fried-out Kombi
On a hippie trail, head full of zombie
I met a strange lady, she made me nervous
She took me in and gave me breakfast

    And she said:

Do you come from a land down under?
Where women glow and men plunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover

Buying bread from a man in Brussels
He was six foot four and full of muscle
I said, "Do you speak-a my language?"
He just smiled and gave me a Vegemite sandwich

    And he said:

I come from a land down under
Where beer does flow and men chunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover, ye-aah

Lyin' in a den in Bombay
With a slack jaw and not much to say
I said to the man, "Are you trying to tempt me?"
Because I come from the land of plenty

    And he said:

Oh! Do you come from a land down under? (oh yeah, yeah)
Where women glow and men plunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder? Aah
You better run, you better take cover

Living in the land down under
Where women glow and men plunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder? (Can't you hear thunder?)
You better run, you better take cover

Living in the land down under
Where women glow and men plunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder? Oh, yeah
You better run, you better take cover, e-ah

Living in the land down under, oh-ooh
Where women glow and men plunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder? (Ya-ya, ya-ya, yaa, thunder)
You better run, you better take cover

Living in the land down under

I fixed it by addings <div> to each table and was able to post it in the other groups.  I have an <iframe> in that code and now to hear it I have to reload the page.  Anyone know why?

https://backgroundsapril.board-directory.net/t65-creative  I have a html iframe coding for background music on you tube which is invisible.  When I go to the post I hear it fine but when I post that same post on other groups I have to reload the page in order to hear the music.  Also some members in other groups can hear the music and some can't.

I don't know if I am explaining it so that you can understand but that is the gist of it.

    Dear @aprilshowers0923

Short explanation and then the solving code thumright

It's not working since April of 2018 because Google decided to give greater control of playback to users. You just need to add &mute=1 to your URL and it will work - but of course you want it to play, that's the whole point here Wink
As a reference: Autoplay Policy Changes

mute=1 or muted=1 will work. However, if you wish to enable autoplay with sound you should add allow="autoplay" to your embedded iframe - for your case:
    Code:
    <iframe style="display:none" id="youtube_player" type="text/html" width="640" height="360" allow="autoplay" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Qt2mbGP6vFI?autoplay=1" frameborder="0">
    </iframe>

Try it and let me know if it works :rose:

Hi Niko.  First of all thank you so much for helping and answering this post.  I tried it on my site and it worked fine.  I will be trying it on other sites to see if they have a problem with the sound.  I will definately let you know.

    Thank you
    April

P.S. Will this code you gave me work for all browsers?  Because it also depends on the settings of the browser???????

Yes it may depend from the browser customization - for example if a user enabled that autoplay is not allowed until he/she accepts, then there is nothing you can do about that Embarassed
