To help search engines to index your forum you must do some actions like

- share content from your forum on social media
- add keywords see here how https://help.forumotion.com/t36994-how-to-add-keywords-metatags
- promote your forum see how https://help.forumotion.com/t10986-forum-promotion

Use the share options in the topics.  This will let the search engines know where to go and index.  Also they will only index what they can see on your forum.  They are considered guests so they only see what guests can see.
