Blog Template

Hi.


I was wondering what is current blog template refferencing and is there any way to acces blogs template.

I deleted the whole blogs template i have on my forum but (AWESOME BB) nothing changed on actual blog forum pages.

Is there any solution to this, some hidden link to the actual blog template?

do you mean that editing the template and publishing it didn't get any change?
Which template have you tried to edit?

Yeah thats the one. I found out that editing that template changes the display of the blogs in forums. So i guess there is no template that edits the blog topic page (messages).

I was just wondering how to find easy way to target that specific page css so i can modify the look of comments etc.

Are there any plans to add that specific template.

Hi sadly there is no plans to change this any time soon.

The reason the blogs are even on our forums now is we had a system just for blogs and one for forums and the blogs system soon become dead so to keep the blogs system we added the two in one place so you the members / founders could use one or the other or both on one system.

That's unfortunate. It does not look like a update that requires lot of resources but it is how it is. Thanks for help.

Go to a blog on your forum that has comments and right click one of the comments and click inspect element.  It should show what the CSS element is unless it is the same one for topics.

To edit the blogs posts page and the blog topics list you can edit these templates: General >

Code: viewcomments_body

and

Code: topics_blog_box
