The amount of ads showing up are far to many!

Description of problem

I have no idea where to post this, but normally we get an ad at the top of my forum because we are on the free plan. But we only get one ad.

Today, there are complaints of numerous ads that are overlapping each other and lots of them on top of each other covering the whole page.

My members can't get into the forum without trying numerous time to get in and are very frustrated.

I talked to other forumotion forums I belong to and they are being flooded with these ads too. They said they started yesterday for them.

I know we don't pay for the forum...but this a bit much. Are you all aware of this? Is so, do you know when it will be fixed. It's the beginning of a new month and all members come in to check in. They won't be able to do that. Very frustrated!

Hi there.

There should be 3 parts of your forum that have ad's
one found at the top of your forum and one at the bottom by the footer and one on your profile page.

We use the ad's to help pay for our free host service and without them we would not be here.

If you are getting more then one in each place then this is not right as we don't have more then one as far as I know unless something has changed in the last week or so. As out SLGray has pointed it could be linked to the link he posted in his post and we are trying to deal with that one but can't Reproduce the problem our end and I am also looking in to that problem my self running test

Also is this on mobile devices only?

Yes, exactly. As a matter of fact, at least two of their members having issues are my members. (Huronna and Flagryl) They both reported to me along with another one of my members not a member of the Zone.

I am sorry I open this report...but their subject line didn't really tell me that it had anything to do with this ad problem.

I will follow that post if you want me to and this one can be closed or moved. I will also give the link to my members so they can follow that too.

EDIT: No one mention anything about a mobile device.

So far I have had two of the members that had issues come into the forum without all those ads...they just had the normal ads. I did notice a really big slow down on the pages loading...even here.
