Moving only one topic from a different Host

Description of problem

Is it possible to move only one full topic from a different host (Hostpapa) where my old forum is to Forumotion? I do not want the full data base... just our General Chat Topic.

Yes, I did read that... but, my forum on Forumotion is full creating and up and running. I only want one topic, not the full forum. Or am I missing something from the link you gave me?

Edit: I just read that link again, and it sounds like the full data base needs to be move...darn it. LOL

So sorry but there is Absolutely no way to move just one topic from some other forum, sadly it's all or nothing.

My advice is to just copy and paste the topic and post it your self.

If you have the same members then ask them to copy their own posts and then post them self.

LOL...that wouldn't work as far as copy and paste. There are about 700 pages of posts.

Anyway... what is the cost to move a whole database to a new forum?

Data import is only possible if the following criteria are met:

• You must have a phpBB, inVision or PunBB forum
  
• You must create a Forumotion forum
  
• You must have access to your old forum's database
  
• You must be moving the data to your new Forumotion forum

No... I am not moving all of the data. I meet the other requirements.

What I would like to know though... is how much it cost if I choose to do this?

To be clear.

1, You must meet all the things listed by SLGray
2, You can only import data from your old forum if you are making a new forum.
3, If you have already made a forum and you have not followed the step's to import your forum from that date you made the forum then you can no longer import your old forum to the forum you have now.
4, There is NO cost to you to import a forum to your new forum as long as you meet all the list noted by SLGray.

If you don't make a new forum and you don't have access to your old database then you can't import your data at all.

Like i have said we can't just take one topic from your old forum there is no way at all sorry.
