block each other?

Can users be set to be able to block each other so that they cannot read and reply in another user's thread?

Hello

You can use the friends and foes option from the profile

Foes are members whose messages will not be entirely visible and of which you will not recieve any more private messages.
Note that you cannot ignore the moderators or the administrators.
