    Solved Security concern.

Post by jonrms Mon Jun 10, 2024 7:34 pm

After speaking with @skouliki regarding being targeted by spammers. I received this for the first time. as shown below. now I have gone in the ACP and searched for the name shown as a member.. Nothing is showing. If I click on a link it is telling me to log in.. Dont think so. But it is a direct link to my site.

No actions were taken on further dealing with the spammers. But now this???? Something is clearly not right.
I am happy to email that email to anyone if you want.. IE Admin or mods.
    But I am concerned.

    Here is my forum. https://preciousmetalforum.forumotion.com/
The email is shown as TXT below. because it shows the hidden email address

@SLGray no I had not looked there. And thank you.

It has been the first time since I started this forum this ever came about. And with the recent spam attacks I was wary. So a huge thank you for that. I have just sorted that one out. Many thanks and I do appreciate your help.

    I appreciate everyones help.
