The BBCode "YOUTUBE" currently displays a YouTube video in quite a small window, about 560 x 315 pixels.

What would be useful is if the user could change the BBCode to "YOUTUBEHD", and the window was then displayed in a bigger. eg: 960 x 540 pixels.

This would all be offered simply by the user entering a "YOUTUBEHD" BBCode instead of "YOUTUBE". And this would allow users to post YouTube videos in either size in a forum post.

    eg:-
    Code:
    [youtube]xyz12345[/youtube]
    or
    Code:
    [youtubehd]xyz12345[/youtubehd]

You don't need any special label for that. By double clicking on the video, it will open in full screen.

    Nope...?

    YOUTUBE bbcode:-

    EMBED bbcode:-

The suggestion is a YOUTUBEHD bbcode should do a size of 960 x 540 pixels rather than the default of 560 x 315 pixels.

    Hello

In my opinion, the Youtube bbcode should be updated... (Even the icon uses an a old logo).
In these times embeding a video from Youtube it's a common task.

Maybe they need to add support (As you said) to insert videos in a better quality, size, etc.

Understood, but that's not the desired behaviour/functionality.
