Founder Vs.Admin rights Empty Founder Vs.Admin rights

    Post by ~abyss~ 25th April 2008, 07:59

This forum was my idea but I had a buddy of mine create it for me because I was facing some problems at the time. He's a trusted friend so I didn't mind untill I realized the fouders get certain rights and he currently doesn't have a computer so it's rare that he even signs on anymore. I was wondering if there was some way to change founder right or just do something. I'm the one thats investing in my time and even money in the forum and if I had know then what I know now I would of just waited and created it myself. Heres the forum http:scorpionforum.darkbb.com .

All you need to do is get his password, log on, and then change the username and the password. It's just that simple.

but, if he is never there then how...

There is no way to "transfer" the forunder privlages. You might be able to change his pass and then log on, but I do not know if that will be negated because of founder protection.

if he is never on the forum, why not send him a nice friendly email, and ask for the password. He is your friend so he will send you the password in an email, then you can login and do whatever.
