How do you start a poll or create one on your forum?

On a thread?
When you post a thread it says add a poll then fill it out there.

oh ight thanx man but what about so it can be shown in the portal

Add the latest topics/posts widget to your portal

I am digging this new option forumotion has here on support with similar topics that come up on the bottom.

And a lot of people also create a board for just polls so may be you would like to do that as well? Just a few more suggestions to better help you.

ok where would this "add latest topics button" be and i tried searching other topics make no sense

admin panel>modules>portal>portal structure

find the polls widgets in your list then add it where you want to the portal and click save.

ok thanx last question it shows now but will they still be able to vote there or not?
then u can lock this topic if u plz

if they click on a poll that's in your widget list it should take them to where the poll is posted and they can vote there.
