how can i set the forum when someones register they dont need to activate they are already log in cause my members are new to forum and they dont now it

As far as I know, there are only two ways how to activate newly registered members and they can't be automatically activated by the system.

It's either the Admin or the users, themselves, are allowed to activate the membership.

or u can do this by following this steps:


acp>user & groups>inactive users>then check the little boxes and activate

I have a question for you? Why would you want that option? I mean what if there is someone you banned and you don't want there? That would give them access to come back. Was just curious??

He's saying when someone registers, he/she doesn't have to activate the account because it will result to inactive members Sad

also, if a banned user creates another account, then ban the IP address Smile

yeh cause my members are new to forum then when their free im offline and they dont know what to do to activate it then when i go online they are busy now

careful when banning IP addresses, as anyone on AOL for example all have the same email address, and when I tried to ban a member, I banned myself and 20% of other users.
