Hi everyone i've just assigned my first moderator and am wondering how do i set it so they can't post stickys or announcements or is this already disabled?

Go to admin panel=>Forum=>Permissions=>Forum permissions control and click on a forum.Then click on the "Advanced Mode" button at the bottom of the page(if you don;t see it it means you are already in advanced mode). now uncheck the "Create a sticky message" and "Create an announce" options for the Moderators group and click the Save button. Repeat this process for every forum.
