Guys How Can I Disable Account Activation

I Mean i want Once users have regisetered they can post without activation

please help

Sorry to tell you, but I think this is not possible. Activation should be a good idea, because members can use fake e-mail addresses if this is turned off. There is another option - you are the one that activate all the accounts. This means that a member can't post untill you say he/she can.

That is not possible.

This is a security feature, it s it helps to stop spambots flooding your foum with garbage.

It should be an option, and it doesn't really do much of anything to stop spamming.

All you have to do is to set your minimum posting to more than 1, so a bot would have to visit twice at least to leave a message.

It should be an option because some forums - like mine - are closed to guests, and only people I know from alumni are admitted.

yeah i too want there many of my frndz who dont know about the forums...and struggles with it!

It's not possible..either you or the user who regestered of ur forum will activate.. If not she/he can't use the account..

admin can also activate account for others in case if they dont understand how to activate

the creator of this topic didn't bump it up. more than 5 days was left! I consider this problem as being resolved and I move it to the garbage to give up the place to the current problems.
